Fermented in used and new French oak barrels and also in stainless steel vats, has its origin in 40-year-old vineyards. It’s a rich and concentrated white, yet with much precision in its citric fruit and minerality. Ages well in bottle for 5 to 10 years and it pairs perfectly with fish and vegetarian dishes. Contraste Red is made every year since 2006. Fermented in stainless steel vats, has its origin in old vines, with a focus on Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz. Both serious and frivolous, has a perfect balance between accessibility while it’s young and the tense structure and deep character. No commitment to longevity gets better in bottle for at least 10 years. It’s a perfect red to pair with stews and braised dishes. Contraste Rosé was made for the first time in 2006 mas became strong as of 2016. It is now a blend of Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca, fermented together in stainless steel vats. Fragrant and aromatic, it shows a floral and fresh fruit character, which evolves a serious structure, a light character, very seductive. This Rosé pairs exquisitely with seafood in various preparations, starters, and vegetarian dishes.
